While bored yesterday we knocked out this quick TV advert for Direct Line. They paid out someone else when my car was stolen and then tried to repossess the car. This advert showcases their best points in their insurance policies.

Jodie Marsh split from her TV husband?
You might have seen the MTV show where they tried to find Jodie Marsh a husband. They never asked me! I even saw her at a pre-season Man City friendly, you’d think I’d have been in there.
Anyhow, MTV have payed her a visit to see what’s been happening since the ‘wedding’.

This site reaches approximately 10,107 U.S. monthly uniques. The site caters to a rather male, HH income up to $60k audience.The typical visitor reads E! Online and visits AOL Movies.
What a load of bollocks. 10,107 U.S. monthly uniques? That’s very exact, also way off. Where do sites like this get their data from?
Earn money with YouTube
As I have several videos on YouTube that have received several thousand views each, and as I have a degree in Film I was quite interested to hear that YouTube now offers a partner program that allows you to earn revenue from the videos you make and upload.
This is great, I can earn money for my fonejacker style videos and any old spoofs I’ve made.
My excitement was tempered slightly however when I read the terms. They are as follows:
- You create original videos suitable for online streaming.
No problem, all of my videos are original and they’ve been streamed on YouTube and Google video for some time now. - You own the copyrights and distribution rights for all audio and video content that you upload — no exceptions.
Yeah, all of my videos are original. This is all sounding good so far. - You regularly upload videos that are viewed by thousands of YouTube users.
Again no problem. I’ve had videos with tens of thousands of views each. - You live in the United States or Canada.
You fuckers. Why restrict this to US and Canadian residents? My videos are watched by people all over the world, where I live is irrelevant.
So you see, once again a great opportunity to make money online is denied the UK public because we’re not Americans. Wake up Google and realise that people live outside of the USA.

Google have posted up the winner of their Adsense video contest, and it’s not me 🙁
Still, this video is good, fair play. Plus they said they’d post some of the interesting ones over the coming weeks, so you never know. If you can’t remember my entry, it can be viewed here.

CSA receive Fonejacker style treatment
When I phoned the CSA on Wednesday their incompetence left me stunned. They were refusing to speak to me because they thought I’d record the phone call and embarrass them. Well, as they’re trying to steal money from me that I simply don’t owe them, refusing to speak to me AND can’t get my address right they’ve left me with no choice.
