W3C Sites

For many web designer and developers out there the thought of validating a website to W3C standards is a scary, pointless pain the ass.

To others, like me, it’s kinda important. On this note I’ve found a great web directory that only lists Valid HTML websites, and you can see my profile here: http://www.w3csites.com/profile.asp?u=JakeCop.

I would add MrDaz.com, but the sodding YouTube embeded code invalidates the markup. Foiled by Google, those very people who prize valid markup so highly. The irony eh?

enom down?

As if the problems of my server going down a few weeks back weren’t bad enough, enom is now having troubles.

Enom.com is the registrar, and for some reason isn’t loading for me from my current location, but it is working for others who have tested it. This means that some of my websites, for me at least, are non responsive.

Naturally, the sites that are down are the highest traffic sites, namely the 3 Transformers websites.

So if you can’t get on any of the Transformers sites, this is why. Bugger.

Server downtime

You may have noticed this site has been down the last few days. You wouldn’t believe the phone calls I’ve had, seriously.

Anyway – the story goes that our server was reimaged and everything had to be backed up and reinstalled. We’re back now, and here to stay.

Rest assured that I’ll be dispensing knowledge, wisdom and insults for some time to come.
