Domino’s Pizza in Cheadle Hulme apologise for mistake

Earlier this year I ordered some food from Domino’s Pizza in Cheadle Hulme and when the pizza arrived they tried to charge me more than the price quoted on the website. I phoned them back up while the delivery guy stood in the doorway and explained how the price on their website was different from the one they tried to charge me.

Even when the delivery guy himself took the phone and explained how the price on their website was indeed different (as they didn’t believe me) they still wouldn’t do anything about it.

Even the manager refused to honour the price when I spoke to him.

Well I’m pleased to say that the new manager of Domino’s Pizza in Cheadle Hulme, Manchester, has seen fit to make amends for the actions of the former manager. He found this post about the incident and contacted me through the website and by telephone to apologise.

All’s well that ends well with Domino’s Pizza, and thanks to Chris Nolan for quality customer service.

My ads have stopped on Yahoo!

I just received the following email alleging to be from Yahoo!, claiming my ads have stopped displaying and asking me to log in to check it out.

Funny, cos I don’t and have never advertised on Yahoo!

I regularly receive similar spam emails for eBay and PayPal, but this is the first Yahoo! email of this nature. If anyone else has received one, don’t click on the links, they’re not exactly genuine.

Dear Advertiser,

Account Notification: Account .Yahoo! Inc. [20674324322] has stopped
displaying ads at this time because the account balance has reached
zero.

Mr Daz T Shirts for sale

JF_lookingforperfect_ftIf you’re a fan of Mr Men you’ve probably noticed the Mr Men T Shirts that have been cropping up everywhere over the last few months. I have a few myself, including Mr Strong, Mr Lazy and Mr Messy (all pretty apt ;)) and the not so apt Mr Perfect (so
I’ve been told).

However I wondered if it would be possible to get a Mr Daz T Shirt, after all it is the most appropriate for me!

I’ll also add some more merchandise soon, including some mugs (as I’ve always wanted one of those anyway).
