Royal Mail stole my post

I returned home after 2 weeks a while back to find a card through my door from the Royal Mail. I’d missed a recorded delivery packet. Probably a DVD I thought as I get sent DVDs regularly because of WhatDVD.Net.

I popped down to the collection depot on the Saturday morning, the only day I’m able to do it, to collect my mystery packet. Guess what? It wasn’t there.

Seems because it had been over a week they’d returned it to the sender, only a further check on the records showed that the sender’s address wasn’t on the packet. So where is my parcel I asked? The Royal Fail employee gleefully told me that the parcel was sent to Belfast where undeliverable items are opened in an effort to find where to send them.

But my address was on it, how could it be undeliverable??? If it’s important enough to be recorded, why not actually deliver it?
He said that’s their procedure.

What a fuck up. I have no idea what the item was, or who sent it – I only know it’s gone. I imagine it was a DVD, and has no doubt now been stolen by a Royal Mail retard.

Podcasts coming soon!

It was suggested by some work colleagues that I should record my phone conversations and offer them as downloads here. You see, they have to listen to me during lunch arguing with Direct Line, Royal Sun Alliance, the Inland Revenue, the CSA and loads of other morons on a daily basis, and my phone calls provide much amusement for them.

Well, having a HP Smartphone I thought I might as well do it, so I’ve just downloaded the software from here and will be recording my phonecalls over the coming weeks, then offering them here as podcasts. You lucky, lucky people!

MySpace Friends

I announced last week I was starting to use MySpace for marketing purposes and wanted to add as many friends as I can, quick like.

Well, I’m now at more than 160 friends with just a few days effort, and climbing. If you want to get in on the act head there now and have a butchers.

Once my profile has suitable ‘power’ I’ll begin the next phase of the plan.

Paris banged up again

Just heard that Paris Hilton has been banged up again after being released from prison. Thank shite for that, if that bitch can get away with it what hope the rest of us?

I do think that if that Nicole Ritchie bird goes down as well they may as well just film another series of the Simple Life in the jail. I had to review the first season on DVD, and after watching that awful bollocks they both deserve to go down.

Blog Review

Sponsored Review

Time to blatantly plug another blog now in an obvious Internet whoring sort of way; this time it’s www.stevekinsey.com. This blog is very similar to my own in that it’s a Website Promotion, Affiliate Marketing and .Net Development Blog. The main difference is of course that this blog doesn’t feature all of the aggression and hatred towards organsiations and individuals that mine does.

In all seriousness though, this is a great blog with masses of content focusing on website promotion and affiliate marketing. Just like myself, Steve is a South Walian and posts the odd DVD review, in fact I’m a little surprised we haven’t met as I used to work in Cardiff.

Any road, Steve is a specialist in .Net and has built websites such as www.digitallard.com (similar again to my WhatDVD.Net site, are we separated at birth or what). Steve’s blog, just like this one, occasionally features Review Me reviews but they are few and far between and even when they do crop up they are honest and informative.

His blog has been running since April 2006 and has quite a wealth of content to look at, including loads of blogs about programming offering advice and information.

I’ll be dropping Steve an email after this to put myself in touch, we must meet up.
