A while back I posted about two Michael Jackson dolls that arrived from in the sort of condition you’d expect to find if they were involved in an earthquake. I telephoned after receiving little joy from their online help due to some idiot just sending stock responses and not actually reading the emails.

I had only slightly more success from the telephone helpline though as the woman on the other end claimed that had no control over how items were packaged. She didn’t seem to understand that a plastic bag was insufficient protection for two collectible figures and couldn’t guarantee that any replacements wouldn’t be sent out in much the same way.

Anyway, have a watch and see what you think.

I’ve yet to receive a replacement, though HDNL did turn up and collect the battered items as expected last week. It’s three weeks since my initial order, and more than two weeks since I notified of the damaged delivery. I wonder how long this will take.

  1. Im still trying to sort out an issue after 2 months with I to have had the catagloue of issues including:
    * emails / web messages either being ignored or standard reply’s that don’t answer original questions.
    * told no control over ordering / cancelled orders.
    * customer services / managers saying they will call back with an update but they don’t.
    * told refunds of vouchers is impossible when they made the mistake.
    * told everything is fine, then within a day my order is cancelled.
    * told contradictory information.
    you name it… I am fed up after 2 months!!!! all calling an 0845 number repeatidly.

    customer service at is really bad.

    Really appreciate the video… I know I am not alone…

I have been using for over a year now, always pre order games from new so i may only be experiencing one department’ but so far all is good… at first i was sceptical because of free postage and so on.. but a year on im still a happy customer and always will be =) although i wish amazon was as snappy with postage….

  3. customer service is terrible. I ordered an item & paid £4.99 for express delivery. They didn’t send me what I ordered & I returned the incorrect item expecting a refund for the item & express delivery. They have made a refund for the item but will not refund the £4.99 for express delivery as delivery was made within their time frame. The fact that what they sent me was incorrect isn’t taken in to account & I am left £4.99 out of pocket as they refuse to repay as i received express delivery. Clearly as lond ag they send you something it doesn’t matter as lond as you receive it within the timeframe. Excellent customer service………..NOT.
